Jesus is Coming, Prepare Your Hearts

Before you start reading this, let me remind you I am not a prophet and nobody knows the day when Jesus will return, not even the angels. Do not mis-interpret this dream as prophecy. When the Holy Spirit speaks into our hearts, it can sometimes overflow into our dreams. I’m sharing this because it has created a new passion for me to prepare our hearts because Jesus is coming- we just don’t know when.

I dreamed that I was selling real estate and went to a clients home. When I arrived for my open house I saw there was a yard sale going on. The neighbors were collecting money. People came up to me and asked about items for sale and I did not know the price, the neighbors did. I worried the owners would come home and I did not have the open house signs in th yard. The place was packed with shoppers and I could not leave. A lady asked me about a set of holiday dishes, they were platters. She held up the packaging for the dishes and said “where are the platters, they are gone?” I told her I did not know. A man handed me a stack of linens and said he wanted them for $20 and then went to get his money. He never returned and I realize he stole the items. I worried the owners would be home and I needed to put out the Open house signs. I looked for a place to hide my purse and did not find anywhere safe. So I left with my Mini Cooper car loaded with treasures and Open house signs on top. I drove down the street. I saw a white cloud in the sky and it was out of place (the same cloud I saw yesterday in 100 degrees heat and knew it was out of place). I followed the cloud to place the Open signs. As I drove I saw the entire neighborhood was filled with white snow and children had made snowmen as tall as people. I saw a line of houses and people in front of their houses sitting on their back legs and leaning over. I realize it was snowing and only in this one neighborhood, not the rest of the town. I saw a street sign leading to the neighborhood and it said “Christians Here.” I looked to the right and saw the most beautiful church in the world. It was illuminated like a Thomas Kincade painting and stood out as the only color against the white snow and evening sky. The church lights were on and it was open, so I needed my Open house signs from the car. I walked back up the street (a hill now) and realize it was nighttime. As I walked up the street I saw a flattened red sleigh, it looked like it had been crushed by something. I wanted to cross the street and saw it was dark and people could not see me, so I kept waiting for a safe time. When the time was right I crossed the street and searched for my car.  I saw another  flattened sleigh in blue and parked beside a fire hydrant. A fireman walked past me and was not in a hurry, he was joyful. I found my car and when I got inside someone tried to pull me out. He was yelling at me and telling me to get out as I fumbled for me keys. He said I was in the wrong car and this one belonged to him. As I put the car key into the ignition I saw my keychain had these numbers written in it: 4:58 then 12-22-25. I knew this was my car and these were my keys.

Instantly I woke up and knew it was Jesus arriving. I realize the client was selling everything they had. I realize the people in front of their houses were on their knees praying. I realize the smashed sleighs were Santa’s sleighs and God’s sense of humor. I realize the platters were for the banquet. I realize the illuminated church is Christ and in the dream it looked like it was floating in the sky. I realize the car is my ministry and Satan was trying to pull me out of it so I would not tell anyone. I realize Jesus is coming soon and it’s very very beautiful. What I saw was so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes. Jesus is coming, prepare your hearts.

10 “The rain and snow come down from the heavens
and stay on the ground to water the earth.
They cause the grain to grow,
producing seed for the farmer
and bread for the hungry.
11 It is the same with my word.
I send it out, and it always produces fruit.
It will accomplish all I want it to,

    my goodness what a dream! How did you feel when you woke up? did you feel peaceful – or anxious to “get to work” sharing the news?
    isn’t it amazing how our minds work – -I’m so glad yours is focused forward. I know that is why you are such a blessing to us.

    I’ve not been online much – so I am wondering – – how is your daughter doing in school? . ..how is your husband settling into his new job? how did your meeting go with the church leaders? you have all been in my prayers.

    for some reason I have had a hard time staying focused lately – -don’t know if the toll of the past two years has finally caught up with me and exhaustion has set in. My husband and I are finally getting on our feet – him physically and both of us financially (going through debt consolidation) and our church, although small and struggling seems to be stable and we think okay for the next year or so. My mom is continuing to fail physically (she turned 89 in September – -we are traveling to see her in a couple of weeks). My son is adjusting to prison life (the praise is that they are doing a Bible Study now and the chaplain agreed to do a worship service for the men in his unit – he will do a service once a month). Carol Kent, wrote a book about her son’s imprisonment called a New Kind of Normal, and maybe I’m there – – in this new normal. I started the summer studies and completed Brave (gosh, i needed that) . .but I stayed in the background – -reading posts but not participating . . This exhaustion is overwhelming (my DR said he thinks it is a form of Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome – -that I have been through my own war) . . .But, know I am here, praying for you. I am looking forward to the Beth Moore study on James, although, I don’t know if I will be able to “count it all joy as you encounter various trials.” — I try, but it is so hard . . . but I am trusting in the One who is leading us home . . . .hopefully soon. I’m ready!

      I felt GREAT peace at the beauty I saw. Hours later I decided to search for Thomas Kinkaid art to see if he painted a church like the one I saw (he did not, though he did paint “The Heart of San Francisco” with a church and an uphill street). My daughter is adjusting to her new school and my husband likes his new job, thank you!

      I looked at all the scripture verses with these numbers and the one I posted at the end of this article touched my heart the most. Here are a few more, I had to look at 4:38 and 4:58 because I wasn’t certain on the number of this one 🙂

      To drive out before you nations greater and stronger than you and to bring you into their land to give it to you for your inheritance, as it is today. Deut 4:38 NIV

      5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.     I love dreams from the Lord. How vivid the dreams are, yet no obvious associations with God until you wake up. Then it feels like He is in the room with you and showing you what everything means. This is a beautiful dream and wonderful of you to share it. The church was so striking to me, “the only color against the white snow and evening sky.” A picture of Christ’s light shining in our darkness surrounded by the purity (snow) that only His presence brings. Your dream has lifted my eyes up to the heavenly hope of our Savior’s return. Oh what joy! Jesus is our hope, our joy, our peace, our salvation, the light of the world!

    There are so many signs in this world that Jesus is standing at the door. Your dream urges me to be that much more excited about His return. It is interesting how you correlated your understanding of God’s word to your dream. And I love when we are touched by the Lord in these special and unique ways. Keep up the faith.

    It looks like your open signs represent your effort to prepare people for the 2nd coming. Some are thieves during that time. I think you and therefore the children in your dream equate the 2nd coming with Christmas, because Christmas represents receiving gifts the greatest gift being Jesus himself. When Jesus comes, your partial understanding of Jesus through Christmas is flattened like the sleighs by the reality of Jesus.
