Failing Forward- John C Maxwell

Rarely do people talking about the benefits of failing…so when you read Failing Forward: Turning Mistakes Into Stepping Stones For Success by John C Maxwell your eyes see a different view in the bathroom mirror! The book begins with a comparison of failing backwards (we’ve all been there) with failing forward. Each chapter concludes with a summary box and an action step for success. There are many examples of failures resulting in success and with each failure came an opportunity to let go, and go back or move forward.

  • Laura says:

John Maxwell is one of my favorite spiritual and business writers. He always shares great thoughts in his books, and on his blog. I love how in this book he encourages us to take a look at our attitude and perception when it comes to failure, as well as really taking to heart that failure is a process and not a one time thing. Great book choice!

I want to buy the book. I’ve heard John Maxwell speak, and I like his messages. I try not to get upset when I have a disappointing experience but I am learning that every experience, whether good or bad, leads to something grander that God has in store for us. Thank you for recommending the book.
