We’re on SSMT Verse Eight as we memorize our next scripture verse for the year. I’m still using my SSMT spiral notebook to write down my verses and memorize them. I’ve found myself quoting the verses to other people, so I know the memorization is having a positive effect. I’ve even started conversations with my children and elderly in-laws, saying something like “I just memorized this verse and I learned….” It’s been fun to open conversations, while at the same time not appearing to brag because I know scripture. On other occasions, I’ve found myself in need of the verses for a spiritual battle- and the weapon always works when I remember to arm myself. I hope you are growing spiritually as you memorize your own verses and sharing them with us below. If you need ideas for verses, you may want to visit this list of the Top 100 Bible Verses.
