Prayer Wall

One of our commitments at the Women’s Bible Cafe is to pray for the needs of our guests. This Prayer Wall is a place where you can post a prayer request, share an answered prayer, or pray for one another. We encourage you to pray for one another as you study the bible together. Reach out to each other through this prayer wall. May we draw closer to God through our prayers.

Scripture

Jesus said “Take this most seriously: A yes on earth is yes in heaven; a no on earth is no in heaven. What you say to one another is eternal. I mean this. When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I’ll be there.” Matt 19-20 Message Bible

I have a couple of prayer requests. First, my husband and I are looking for a new church home. Please pray for the Lord to lead us to the church He wants us to worship, serve and fellowship in.
Second, is for my health. I have diabetes and having a hard time keeping my levels down right now. It gets frustrating and tiresome to be dealing with this ALL the time!!

I have read the other prayer requests and I will be praying for all of you. So many troubles and heartaches.

Oh, another request. I have been praying for a close lady friend. I don’t make friends easily, not sure why. Buy my heart aches for a friend of like heart and soul.

      Hi Linda,
I pray that God sends you to a church where your gifts and talents an be used to glorify him. I went to a church where my mothers husband funeral was held. I started to attend the church and God placed it in my spirit to talk to the Bishop about being his secretary, I was never a secretary in my life. I did it without pay. God blessed me with the gift to do the church bulletins, coordinate his consecration ceremony and dinner, do the letterhead for the church, organize the youth department and so much more. I just put together his booklet for his 27th pastoral anniversary and the programs for the closing service. Just find a church where you spirit is a peace and is Bible based.
God is the healer of all healers, I pray that he covers you with wellness so you don’t worry any more about keep your levels down.

      Hi Linda,
You have extraordinary gifts. I pray that God will send you and your husband to a church where he needs your ministry! And, I pray that God will give you a really good friend…..someone who needs a friend as much as you.

  2. dlorene says:

We have a daughter, Renee, who is lost and in deep captivity in the world. My hope is that prayers are sent up on her behalf; that she would be found by Christ loving contemporaries. May you all find blessing in this brilliant study!

    • Linda says:

I will pray with you for your daugther. The enemy’s lies can be broken with prayer. I have a grandaugther much like this. Let’s not give up.

    • Joyce says:

      dlorene,
I know the feeling. I would have dark dreams about my oldest son and I had to give him BACK to God. I told God that even though he is my son, he belongs to him. So I gave him back. I did this once a week for all of my children. Now he has found a church home and loves it, my daughter has finally gotten in school and loving it. and my youngest two are getting closer to God by attending church (which is a start). It takes time, patience and knowing that God hears a mothers prayer.
You will be in my prayers as well that you and your daughter be victorious in this worldly battle.

    • Cindy H says:

I firmly believe that God doesn’t give up on our family! Our prayers for them from childhood are still swirling around the throne of God.

    • Betty F says:

I pray for Rene’. Life can be so difficult sometimes–especially when we see our children are not where God wants them to be. But God is good and He is able.

    • Betty F says:

      Praying for Rene

  3. bmar says:

I ask for prayer, for my husband’s health. I also, ask that you keep my friend Nancy in prayer. As she is in need of a job. Please help me pray that my husband and I find a good school for our son who has hearing loss. We will be meeting our district to see what best fits him. we just want to be able to make the right decision and may the Lord guide us. thank you so much!

    • Cindy H says:

As a school counselor, I told my parents that they are their child’s advocate. Don’t hesitate to ask for the best for him in a way that is kind but firm. Continue to be a part of your child’s team, praying and believing that God has the best teacher already picked out for him!

  4. Anitra says:

I’m asking prayer for a miracle in my life and for my career. I’m afraid and overwhelmed but I have to trust God. I pray for discernment, wisdom and guidance as I step out and ask that God will create perfect harmony in my marriage, in my relationship with my son, my teaching career and my purpose in filmmaking. Only God can do it, but I feel so inadequete and I’m scared I will fail…please pray against the spirit of fear and for God’s guidance and for God’s plan in my life to be fulfilled. Thank you and amen!

  5. Joyce says:

I need prayer because the devil is working overtime at my home. I am two days behind in my bible study, my Mom is saying her knee is hurting her so bad she has a hard time walking (she goes up and down the steps to get ice) I ask her if she wants to go to the hospital and she says no, I am angry and tired. I know God hears my plea, he has not failed me yet. There are decisions I have made which are taken as a joke and I feel I am all along. Just pray for my strength and to break free of the bondage. I will read and understand my bible study lesson tonight, I don’t care how late it is. I will read it before I ask God for a peaceful sleep.
Thank you ladies for being part of the fence. Blessings to all

  6. Aurora says:

I would like prayers for my struggling Marriage and Husband. That he has the courage and faith to look into his own soul and see the walls and lies he has put between himself and his family. I pray that he come to God to seek his own truths and learn from them. It is only in the truth and light that will set everyone free.

  7. Sylvia says:

please pray the newborn daughter of a young couple on staff at our church. She is in serious condition in nicu at this time.
