Breaking Free Updated Edition

You heard it right! We are repeating the Breaking Free Beth Moore Bible study for those women who missed it the first time or did not complete it last year. The study has been so popular and we receive so many requests to participate, that we are starting from lesson one, beginning on April 22, 2013. This is a 10-week Bible study written by bestselling author Beth Moore. Join us in this online Bible study, hosted by the Womens Bible Cafe. Once a week we’ll post summary updates for the study, and we invite you to participate by reading the book, listening to the optional audio sessions and posting your comments as you Break Free.

You’ll read the workbook at home, a chapter each week. You’ll have daily homework assignments which require 30-45 minutes to complete. Once a week we’ll “meet online” to discuss a theme and chapter from the book. You can visit the Womens Bible Cafe anytime to post a comment or join the online discussions via our private chatroom. Location of the NEW small group chatroom will be announced at the start of the Bible study. Workbook version (member book) is required the book version is optional.

About the Breaking Free Bible Study (from

Breaking Free: The Journey, The Stories – Member Book by Beth Moore leads you through a study of the Scriptures to discover the transforming power of freedom in Jesus Christ. Themes for this study come from Isaiah, a book about the captivity of God’s children, the faithfulness of God, and the road to freedom. This in-depth women’s Bible study draws parallels between the captive Israelites of the Old Testament and New Testament believers in Jesus as the Promised Messiah. Beth looks at the Book of Isaiah through the lives of the kings who ruled during the prophet’s ministry. These kings exemplify many of the obstacles to freedom with which we must deal. Using Scripture to help identify spiritual strongholds in your life, no matter how big or small, Beth explains that anything that hinders us from the benefits of knowing God is bondage.

For those who were unable to participate the first time we hosted Breaking Free at the Bible Cafe, we timed this study so you will not miss out. For those who fell behind on Breaking Free because of distractions or spiritual warfare, this repeat study of Breaking Free will allow you to complete the life-changing lessons. No more  excuses ladies…it is time for your to stop saying “I want to take the Breaking Free Bible study someday, I hear that it’s good.” Now you will be participating in the study, changing your life through this powerful Bible study, and telling others about how Breaking Free has changed your life. We’ll start reading week one on April 22, 2013 so please order your workbooks now.

Hi, my name is Penny and I live in AZ. I’m married for 8 years to a good, Christian man and have a sweet 2 1/2 year old son…love him!! I’m 44 and I’m originally from GA but have lived in AZ long enough to feel like this is my home. Although I do miss the fours seasons and have never really gotten used to the heat..ugh! Anyway, before I had my son, I was very diligent with learning and growing in Christ. Through prayer daily and bible studies from Beth Moore or just on my own, reading. Now, I just don’t feel I have enough time to even shower with a toddler. So, I went to the computer tonight and googled bible studies of Beth favorite, and this website showed and I inquired. This online study seems to be a good fit for me! Regarding the question about my favorite childhood book. I don’t really remember having a particular book that I liked reading. I will say this, I do believe my mom wanted the bible to be my favorite book because she would pay me to memorize verses and chapters that to this day I can quote..

Hi I am Sue from New Zealand currently living in Western Australia. I have been living in The Outback where there are no churches, but have now moved into the nearest coastal town 280 ks away, as I can no longer cope living in the harsh environment of the out back. One of my daughters Holly who currently lives in Scotland recommended this course to me. The only problem is that my husband who works with the indigenous people in the outback is still living there and visits me now in the weekends has the internet we pay for out in the outback as there is no cell phone coverage and we currently cant afford to pay for internet in both places. However i do have an iphone that does have a limited internet data a month, so my question is how much do you need to use the internet for this course? I really need this, oh and my favorite child hood books were the Narnia Series by CS lewis.
