By May 16, 2012Nehemiah

We’ve been waiting for this announcement and it’s finally here…the 2012 Siesta Summer Bible Study by Beth Moore! The summer bible study will officially begin on June 26, 2012 and Beth has selected the book Nehemiah by Kelly Minter. You’ll have a short break between the current studies and the start of the summer study…so be sure to stay on track so you’re ready to begin this fun event. Nehemiah: A Heart That Can Break – Member Book by Kelly Minter is a 7-session Bible study for women. Nehemiah’s heart was so broken for those in need that he left the comfort of his Persian palace to help them. Like Kelly’s other studies in the Living Room Series, you’ll find authentic Bible teaching, recipes, and a relational approach. To participate in this online womens bible study, you’ll need a copy of the book available at Lifeway.com or Amazon.

If you’ve never participated in online study at the Womens Bible Cafe, it’s pretty simple. You’ll read the book at home, then visit the Womens Bible Cafe to participate in a online group discussion. Make sure you read the Getting Started page because the most common questions are answered here.

Participate by yourself or with a friend. Either way, you won’t be alone! We have many women from around the world and your participation in the group discussions makes the study enjoyable for all! Here’s a quick look at the study

We strongly recommend you get the book early…as there was a delay in getting books the last time Beth Moore hosted a summer bible study. It’s so much fun…you don’t want to miss out because you ordered your book too late!

We’ve provided a link to Amazon for the book because they offer free shipping. It’s also available at Lifeway.com The video downloads for Nehemiah by Kelly Minter are available for download via Lifeway. They are not required for the study due to the cost, though highly recommended and enjoyable.

My local church is starting this study and I would like to know if this one can be joined at any time. I work 2 jobs and can not attend my local study.

I forgot to mention that I am recently retired and live in the Kansas City area. I have been a Christian for over 40 years, and enjoy being involved with my church. I am retired school teacher and a newly published author of a Christian historical fiction novel, Angel with a Mission. I love to read and to write and am currently working on the sequel I have attended two other Beth Moore Bible studies: Breaking Free and Daniel. I also had the privilege of moderating the Breaking Free series with a group of women in our church last year. . Now that I am retired, I plan to spend even more time studying God’s Word, writing, and traveling.

I am joining this study late. I began it at our church, but unfortunately, I had to stop going because of another job-related commitment that day. I am thrilled to find this site so that I can continue.
