Excited!!! So looking forward to a summer bible study. My church bible study will not start up again until Sept. I just can’t go that long. Just got back from Beth’s conference in Fresno, Ca. So awsum!!! I don’t blog, and I have never done this before, but am so willing!!

Hello! I’m a stay at home mom with two precious and very busy boys. My husband works very long hours and we trying to pay off some big bills prepare for his bible school training. We just moved and have not found a church home, yet. Just praying and visiting and trusting the Lord! I’m really excited to join this study, this is an answer to prayer. My favorite summer meal is good barbeque and potato salad with, of course, sweet iced tea loaded with lemons (it’s no secret now, I am a Southern gal). Blessings! Nancy

I realised that my personal bible study time was out of whack after our Community Bible Study completed in May. I decided to find a Bible Study workbook and found this website and Beth Moore’s summer siesta bible study today. I’ve just ordered the book and I’m going to print out the 1st week’s pdf reading from the summer siesta website tonight. I hope I’m not too late and I sure hope I can be disciplined enough!

Hey, I’m Lauren from Kentucky… I am doing this solo so thought this weekly discussion board would help me as I go through… I enjoy reading what everyone else has to say. That’s one thing I love about the Bible… no matter how many people read it, there are different parts that speak to them individually because of the season of life each person is in. I like to think that God knows what we need when we need it. I am married, have a 7 year old, and teach nursing, so I fortunately have the summer off, and am hoping to draw closer to God this summer as I have more time to dive into His word. My word was blessed, because I really feel like I am, but I know that in order to continue to be blessed, I have to stay centered on Him.
