Looking forward to our third week of study beginning Monday.
Breaking free,

This Session kicked my butt….I had a day where I “got my mad on without any truth”. I also got to experience the “Spirit of Offense”.
I have to sit back and wonder why I tear myself down. Why do I drag others down with me.
I need to Load My Riffle with HIS Word and move on!!
Beth is so right about loading our rifle every morning with his Word. She made me laugh so much when she said, “But I walked on the beach this morning.” But she’s right, as Bible believing Christians we have to guard ourselves against new agey ideas that may sound all peaceful and everything but can weaken us to the wiles of the enemy. The main thing the enemy does not want us to truly know and believe is God’s Word and he will do whatever he can to interfere with it.
..Not sayin there’s anything wrong about walking on the beach because it is God’s creation and very beautiful but it can’t be a replacement for spending time in the Word and the best time to do it is 1st thing in AM b4 we meet the world.
When God started speaking to me about my bondage, I really didn’t know which way to turn. I had been deceieved for so long, and believed the deception for so long that I didn’t know what was right. Was the world right? Was what some Christians “say” right? Was the Bible right?
Then I was reading a book on what some people went through to get the Bible translated, and it spoke about how they would write scripture verses on strips of ribbon and carry them. When they quoted one, “Sanctify them by truth, my Word is truth”…it was as if God spoke directly to me, and I have clung to that since. It truly IS what comes against the world, the flesh, and the devil, so to speak, and it is what frees us to real truth!
Love that Pam. I used to walk 2 miles every morning b4 I went to work and I carried a 3 X 5 note card with me with a scripture written on it. Instead of meditating and obsessing about what the day would bring out there in the world I would spend that time repeating that scripture over and over as I walked. It really helped me to not get stressed b4 I even got to work and to recall that during the day when the stress would try to overtake.
