Here he is putting himself out there to our father asking that he treats us just like him. Wow, how wonderful that is to even think of! This for me means that I should be more like Jesus, I should be having the same one on one conversations with God, as well as willing to sacrafice for others!

It speaks to me in a way that makes me feel like I am set apart from the rest of the world. It seems that Jesus is saying that He did everything for us and that he believes in us. I don't know if I am interpreting this scripture correctly, but I this is how it feels to me.
