Bible Cafe for WomenNow that our books have arrived, we’ve organized our time into a reading schedule for our Winter Bible Study. Your workbook Breaking Free, Updated Edition by Beth Moore includes a ten week lesson plan and 11 audio/video sessions.

Reading Schedule for Breaking Free, Updated Edition

November 16-Week 1: Untying the Cords of the Yolk

November 23-Week 2: That You May Know

November 30-Week 3: Removing the Obstacles

December 7-Week 4: Rebuilding the Ancient Ruins

December 14-Week 5: Binding Up the Brokenhearted

December 21-BREAK

December 28-Week 6: Beauty From Ashes

January 4-Week 7: The Potter and the Clay

January 11-Week 8: God’s Unfailing Love

January 18-Week 9: The Steadfast Mind

January 25-Week 10: The Display of His Splendor

Scripture Memory

In this study, Beth Moore is asking you to memorize ten scripture verses. These verses are printed in the back of the workbook.

Audio Sessions

If you have the audio or video CD’s, please listen to the Introduction (Session 1) before we start on November 16th.

If you are not using the audio or video sessions, be sure to download the Viewer Guide available free from Lifeway.

Introductions

Thank you to everyone who have posted their introductions. It’s fun to see your favorite childhood books! I have not posted individual replies or welcomes to the introductions, so that we can see how many women are participating, by the number of comments posted. Right now we have 23 women participating in the Breaking Free online Bible study.

Study Break

We have planned a one week reading break during December. This is a long study for our group, and a mid-point break after week five of study will allow time you to catch-up, if you fall behind. Your daily lessons are 30-45 minutes long, five days a week. So you also have Saturday or Sunday to complete the work if needed.

Study at the pace that works best for you. Sometimes I can’t wait to see what is next and will study two lessons the same day. Other times, I get sick or my kids are sick and I fall behind a day. Flexibility is the key to the study-just don’t quit if you feel guilty that you fell behind. When you quit a Bible Study, you’ve given in to the desires of Satan and walked away from the desires of God’s heart. Falling behind is okay, quitting is not!

Blessings,

”Christine”

Thanks for telling us to listen to the introductory session before next Monday. I’ll go order and download that session right now.

    Can’t wait,
