Thank you for visiting the Bible Cafe as we finish out 4th week of “Me, Myself and Lies.” Jennifer has created a video just for you!
It was a huge discovery for me to learn that anger comes from inside my thought closet, not outside. I believed that anger was a result of a relationship and the other person would “cause” the anger inside me. God has revealed the truth to me and helped me understand my fire words. From today’s lesson, I found the emotional words that spark my anger.
Knowing the emotional words which trigger my anger, I’m able to identify these words in conversation and pull out my shield of faith to prevent the fire from spreading. I’m throwing words of scripture onto the flaming arrow and welcoming conflict rather than retreating from it. Conflict is an opportunity for peace.
